Women's Basketball Opens Season With Thrilling 68-67 Win

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Senior captain Catherine Andrews' running one-hander banked off the glass and in with 2.2 seconds left to hand West Chester's women's basketball squad a 68-67 victory over Goldey Beacom in the first game of the Millersville Tip-Off Tournament Friday night.

The Golden Rams (1-0) had trailed by a point in the final seconds before Andrews played the role of hero that gave West Chester its win on opening night.

West Chester continues its weekend opener tomorrow afternoon on day two of the Millersville Tip Off Tournament.
